En parlant de col\u00e8re, nous nous attaquons \u00e0 un probl\u00e8me s\u00e9rieux. Pour beaucoup, il existe une sorte de \u00ab sainte col\u00e8re \u00bb qui nous permet de justifier certains de nos emportements. Nous nous cachons derri\u00e8re le fait que J\u00e9sus s’est mis en col\u00e8re en chassant les vendeurs du Temple et nous estimons que nous pouvons nous emporter sur les autres en vertu de cet exemple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
L’ap\u00f4tre Jacques n’\u00e9tait pas de cet avis. Pour lui la col\u00e8re ne d\u00e9montre pas quelque chose de juste et si nous regardons de plus pr\u00e8s les passages qui parlent de J\u00e9sus dans le Temple, aucun des \u00e9vangiles ne dit qu’Il \u00e9tait en col\u00e8re : son geste est expliqu\u00e9 par une d\u00e9monstration d’un z\u00e8le d\u00e9vorant pour la Maison de son P\u00e8re (Jean 2.17).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Beaucoup des personnes que nous avons rencontr\u00e9es dans le minist\u00e8re ont souffert \u00e9norm\u00e9ment de la col\u00e8re d’un proche, qu’il soit parent ou conjoint. Subir la col\u00e8re provoque une paralysie, une culpabilit\u00e9 et une tr\u00e8s mauvaise image de soi. Quand nous laissons libre cours \u00e0 notre col\u00e8re, nous ouvrons une porte \u00e0 la destruction de ceux qui nous entourent et \u00e0 une d\u00e9t\u00e9rioration de nos relations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cependant, en tant qu’\u00eatre humain, ce n’est pas facile de ne pas \u00ab voir tout rouge \u00bb dans certaines situations mais dans ce cas l’ap\u00f4tre Paul nous sugg\u00e8re de ne pas laisser la journ\u00e9e se terminer sur ce sentiment (Eph\u00e9siens 4.26). Le calme revenu, n’h\u00e9sitons pas \u00e0 demander pardon pour notre perte de sang froid et apprenons \u00e0 nous contenir, pour le bien de ceux que nous aimons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
