Dans notre verset de ce matin, Pierre parle de Lot. Malgr\u00e9 qu’il soit un exemple peu flatteur, Pierre voit en cet homme un juste, un homme qui craignait Dieu en tout cas. Qu’est ce qui a pu se passer pour que cet homme finisse aussi mal ? Voil\u00e0 quelqu’un qui \u00e9tait tourment\u00e9 par le mal et la perversion qui l’entouraient !<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Je pense que le plus gros probl\u00e8me de Lot, c’est qu’il s’est tu. Peut-\u00eatre par l\u00e2chet\u00e9, par compromis ou que sais-je mais il est rest\u00e9 muet devant un monde cruel, injuste et d\u00e9prav\u00e9. M\u00eame au moment critique, il parut plaisanter aux yeux de ses gendres alors que la destruction de la ville de Sodome \u00e9tait imminente. Il avait perdu tout cr\u00e9dit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Un autre verset qui me parle ce matin c’est celui du roi David qui disait : \u00ab Tant que je me suis tu mes os se consumaient \u00bb (Psaumes 32.3). Bien s\u00fbr on attribue souvent ce verset au manque de repentir de David quant \u00e0 sa situation avec Beth Sh\u00e9ba. Mais vous ne trouvez pas qu’il y a une similitude entre ce tourment de Lot et les os de David qui se consumaient ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ma r\u00e9flexion est celle-ci : pouvons-nous vivre sereinement si nous fermons les yeux et nous taisons face \u00e0 toute l’injustice qui nous entoure ? Pire, arrivons-nous \u00e0 taire ce tourment devant les atrocit\u00e9s qui se vivent sur notre plan\u00e8te, peut-\u00eatre \u00e0 deux pas de chez nous ? Oui je veux que mes os arr\u00eatent de se consumer, je veux crier \u00e0 l’injustice et \u00eatre une bouche pour le muet !<\/p>\n\n\n\n
